What is UV DTF printing and how does it work?

UV DTF (Direct to Film UV) printing is an innovative technique that allows transferring designs onto multiple surfaces (glass, metal, wood, plastic, leather, etc.) using UV inks and ultraviolet light curing, without the need for heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

The design is created in graphic software such as Photoshop or Illustrator, prepared in high resolution and ready to be printed on rigid surfaces like glass, metal, plastic, or wood.

Printing is done on a special PET film using a UV DTF printer with UV inks. In some cases, UV varnishes or adhesives are also added to create volume or a 3D effect.

This means the ink dries and hardens instantly with ultraviolet light, making it resistant to abrasion and ready to be transferred without the need for drying time or heat.

The cured design is transferred using pressure or adhesive onto surfaces such as glass, metal, wood, leather, or plastic, without using heat, making it ideal for sensitive materials.
