The design is created in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDRAW, and printed in mirror image to ensure it's oriented correctly during transfer. Using sublimation inks and a compatible printer, such as Epson printers with a piezoelectric printhead, is essential.

It is printed on special sublimation paper, designed to retain the ink without fully absorbing it. It is important to let the print dry completely before proceeding with the heat transfer.

The printed paper is placed on the garment or compatible surface (polyester or special coating).
A heat press is used, configured with:
Temperature: 180–200°C
Time: 30–60 seconds
Pressure: Medium

The ink transitions from solid to gas without becoming liquid. In its gaseous form, it penetrates the fibers of the polyester or the object's coating.
When it cools, the ink sets permanently, leaving no surface layer, which guarantees greater durability.
